What do birthdays, Minnesota blizzards, and Bruce the shark from the movie Jaws all have in common? They are all unstoppable. And in 2024, that's the Finch & Daisy team word of the year. Many people like to set resolutions for upcoming years, but Joy instead chooses a single word or idea to be the goal for F&D in the coming year and this year we will be “unstoppable.”
What are we doing to ensure that we remain unstoppable in 2024? Our team culture is built on two things: relationships and hard work. These values are reflected in our vision as we continue to commit ourselves to being “kind, reliable, and the best at what we do.” We've worked hard to develop and nurture this culture and we feel like it is one of the key elements in making us unstoppable. We also know being unstoppable requires us to perform at our best. To achieve this, we encourage everyone to make time to get up from their desk several times a day and try to end team calls 10 minutes early to allow for a mental break. We foster movement and exercise through our Wellness & Charity Challenge. We ensure our team knows the importance of life-work balance. Being unstoppable isn't always a constant drive for results…that can easily lead to burnout.

F&D Gives Back Looks Back
Our F&D Gives Back Committee recently shared a Year in Review of our charitable efforts in 2023. We wanted to share those highlights here. The Committee has supported dozens of local and nationwide charities over the last year and donated over $30,000 to support their efforts. Additionally, they have organized several donation drives and participated in many community events. Finch & Daisy won't just be unstoppable in our business, we'll be unstoppable members of our communities and in our giving back efforts in 2024.
